This unique app lets kids use their fingers to paint another time period onto a photograph. By selecting tubes of time, kids swipe one finger over a photo to make it change. In one of the 17 time sequences, kids can view the Arctic in a 1979 photo andthen paint with 20 years of time to reveal how much snow has melted when viewed from 2009. Most of the imagery shows the effect of climate change on a variety of glaciers, lakes and mountains; but kids can also explore how cherry blossoms change from morning to noon to afternoon. While simple in execution, this app delivers a powerful visual punch.
