Red Hill Studios - Smog Game

Smog is an illustrated simulation game that lets visitors explore and learn about 5 key sources of pollution in the Los Angeles Basin. Visitors can adjust smog output and dissipation rates for smog sources, and then see the cumulative effects of multiple smog sources over time. The resulting Air Quality Index (AQI) levels are also displayed, to reinforce the effects of smog on the health of local residents.

The interface for this bilingual game provides visitors with information about how airports, traffic, consumer products, ports, and refineries contribute to smog, and how the levels of pollution they produce has changed over time.
